We are now searching for a full-time Certification Project Manager to help us drive this project forward. The Certification Project Manager will be responsible for operationalizing the vision of the AEA’s Certification Committee, managing multiple Working Groups, and coordinating input from dozens of stakeholders. This permanent staff role will take ownership of a complex process, with a multi-year design / launch phase followed by ongoing oversight and management. The successful candidate will work alongside senior executives in sustainable industry and energy sectors; they will have a direct impact on the decarbonization of several sectors of the global economy, including agriculture, shipping, and energy storage; and they will accelerate the clean hydrogen economy.
3 or more years of project management experience (PMP certification preferred). Demonstrated ability to complete complex projects within scope, budget, and timeline. Confidence communicating in English with technical experts and senior executives. Excellent time management skills to complete assignments while working independently. Ability to solve problems creatively and manage disputes with diplomacy. Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness. Experience, education, or demonstrated ability in two or more of the following critical areas: GHG life-cycle analysis (eg, well-to-gate) or carbon accounting (eg, Scope 1, 2, and 3); Markets for environmental attributes such as renewable energy credits, virtual power purchase agreements, carbon offsets, or emissions trading; Programs that industry can follow based upon complex regulatory requirements; Industrial digitalization (eg, blockchain, IIoT platforms); Stakeholder consultation process.
