Designing products on CATIA (CAD) using customer requirements, design standards, and engineering best practices. Properly document designs and revisions using drawings, bills of material, and engineering change notices, and communicate this documentation as necessary. Provide support and technical expertise for customers, sales, purchasing, vendors, production, service, quality, and shipping. Maintain proper documentation, revisions, coding, and creation of parts and assemblies in the internal ERP system. Understand the production process, offer assistance as necessary, and design with assembly workability. Maintain project files electronically documenting customer and sales communications as well as necessary paperwork. Communicate effectively, timely, and professionally with all parties. Support other departments, as needed, with engineering design assistance. Sustain ISO 9001:2015 working practices.

Experience with CAD software, JD Edwards and/or SAP, and Microsoft Office. Strong organization and record keeping documentation skills. Demonstrates proficient written and oral communication skills. Experience in customer standards and relations. Ability to speak French, German, or Spanish a plus but not required. Must be able to shift between projects and to prioritize project importance. Ability to develop constructive ideas to take necessary steps to get things done. Strong problem-solving skills to create unique solutions to complex problems. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and the ability to follow within quality standards.
