As Energy Analyst – Front of Meter you will be helping manage channel partner deal flow from the initial request for a proposal through the solution design. This includes running complex financial models for wholesale markets, pricing, contracting and booking of the channel-enabled deal. You will support several outside Account Executives on the Solar + Storage Sales team and are the key to making sure deals move through sales funnel to booking as quickly as possible. The sales team will depend on you to be an expert on the entire sales process including business case development, pricing, legal, finance and project management. Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, Developer Team, you will be required to collaborate with internal researchers and modelers, applying your in-depth background and knowledge of battery energy storage solutions, electricity markets, and power systems to perform analysis toward Stem Inc.’s products and services.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. High Proficiency using MS Excel to create models, knowledge must include INDEX MATCH, Data Tables, VBA. Experience with building financial models, preferably in the renewable and/or storage industry. Ability to work autonomously, focusing on key outcomes amidst competing priorities and tight deadlines. Ability to think across disciplines and functional expertise. Displays enthusiasm.
