STMicroelectronics (Malta) Ltd. are seeking to recruit a Failure Analysis (FA) & Reliability Engineer to work within its Quality Department.

Hold a Bachelor's degree In Engineering, preferably electrical/electronics. Be familiar with manufacture of semiconductor devices and electronic and electrical fault finding in semiconductor devices. Be able to understand wiring diagrams and test fault reports, to confirm problems using laboratory equipment. Be able to perform research on new methodologies for failure analysis. Demonstrate skills in preforming fault analysis and technical report writing. Be motivated and keen on becoming an expert in the job and forming part of a technical community for failure analysis. Show interest in researching and developing new methodologies and research failure analysis equipment capabilities. Be able to work under pressure. Be proficient in the use of Excel, PowerPoint and other similar applications. Demonstrate a methodical & analytical approach. Be capable of working on his/her own initiative. Possess good communication skills. Be a good team member. Be fluent in English. Have a keen eye to detail and be meticulous and well organized.
