-Contribute to the evolution of existing products by enhancing and/or improving existing features
-Support the development and implementation of software for new ESS products
-Collaborate firmware development tasks with the software team locally and internationally
-Support the fulfillment of our development roadmap strategy by releasing energy storage systems for the US (UL) and Canadian (CSA) Market
-Adapt existing energy storage systems and accessories for US-Requirements (UL1998, UL1741, UL9540 IEEE1547)
-Formulate new firmware development platforms geared to accommodate US Market requirements.
-Develop firmware features targeted to control, monitor and diagnose all aspects of our systems in residential and commercial voltage applications
-Responsible for the proper conduction and documentation of processes during firmware development
-Perform relevant testing and validation of the developed firmware following proper code development guidelines
-Translate market requirements into firmware features as part of Life-cycle management of existing products
-Collaborate in simulation modelling during the investigation of new features considered for implementation
-Support specific tasks as instructed within scope of work
Knowledge about communication protocols/bus i.e. CAN Bus, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, UART etc.
